The Tara Centro in Atyra, Paraguay, is a Buddhist center located just one hour from Asunción International Airport.

In addition to ZEN meditation, daily zazenkai sessions and sesshins, our program also includes tantric Buddhist rituals and classical shamanism.

We specialize in healing and accompanying the living and the dying through Medicine Buddha rituals and Powa to support the transition to the Bardo state. Our goal is the realization of the Buddha’s teachings through practical experiences that endure beyond death.

About us

We, Kum Bok Yang and Horst Schoedel, have been living in Paraguay since 2022.
As experienced experts in energetic healing and Tibetan Buddhism, we offer specialized care.
Our practice releases emotional and mental blockages.
This significantly improves the quality of life of our clients. With initiations in Tibetan Ngalso Reiki and over 100 other Tibetan Buddhist practices, including the Medicine Buddha practice, we combine traditional knowledge with modern healing methods as part of the TCA program.

The green Tara is a central figure in Tibetan Buddhism and is depicted as a female manifestation of compassion. It symbolizes enlightenment and protection from obstacles on the spiritual path. With a gentle smile and a lotus in her hand, she embodies grace and compassion. Believers worship her through prayer and meditation to gain her wisdom and help, especially in times of need and suffering.
